“Belly Dancing has inspired me to do great things as well as inspire those around me to try something new and exciting. I love teaching because it allows me to give back what I have learned and share with other people. This allows them to grow as individuals and improve their confidence, health, flexibility, strength and coordination. Currently I am teaching dancercise, which is a class that consist of;
a warm up, to help loosen up your muscles and get your heart pumping, instruction of several moves and steps, that are then put together to create a combination put to music. It is a relaxed environment and it is meant to be enjoyed, it’s not intimidating. The goal is to have fun while dancing with fellow members of your community.”

Sahra has loved the dance since early childhood. She puts a strong emphasis on proper stretch and strength training to support your belly dance moves with technique as well as with style. The East Meets West class is an all levels belly dance class with a hiphop & modern dance twist, which is performed at the recital to a modern pop/dance song that you may hear on the radio. Sahra loves watching her students progress from just "doing" the moves to performing them with style and a big smile because they are having fun! When you have fun dancing the audience has fun watching.
